What are the rules of law relating to bicycling in Los Angeles?
Most of the time I stop'd by the police on my bike I say it's illegal to ride on the sidewalk and no light. They tell me I have to go in the bike lane, there are not many in the greater Los Angeles. I think they're profiling me, always look for the backpack and my pockets and my ID! But never give me a ticket if I have broken the law?

Try garage sales or garbage collection in slum nice. If you just ride around for exercise, you should be able to pick something that will do the job. I'm good for motorcycle racing and off-road, but I keep a "collector garbage in the garage for tools at the city, go to the train station, etc, so do not have to worry about theft. Adding to your debt load is not going to help matters. Furthermore, why online? Would not you like to try something before you bought trip?

I never travel without my parents, but would do so next year. Comments?
