Bioglogy simple problem of counting bacteria?
If 10 grams of food is added to the water bottle mouth 90 ml wide and 1 ml is transferred the wide-mouth bottle with 99 ml of sterile water bottle near, how to determine the overall rate of dilution of the bottle, wide mouth bottle and close .. Does anyone here knows? I thought the 1:10 dilution of 1:1000 for big mouth closed? Is that correct?
You're right. 10 g in 90 ml (= 90 g) is 1:10 - 10: (10 90) 1 mL in 99mL is 1:100 - 1: (1 99) total dilution of 1:1,000 - 1: (10x100)
