What is good to eat during a long bike ride?

In my road bike, I sometimes take bike rides around 100 km. If I get going a little hungry or I am losing energy fast, what are some good things to eat, which is also a good source of energy?

Have something that can be digested quickly and will give you lots of energy. Natural food is a banana, or you could experiment with different rods and energy gels. Try as many as you can, it would be best treated when you are not training first, see if they agree with, and if that's okay, try them on a short ride. If this works, then use on your long walks. The same with energy drinks, though it is not training first, in case they cause stomach upset. It's about knowing what suits you, I've met guys who eat malt bread when training, but I do not know if it is available where you are, and do not like, so I've never used. Hope this helps.
