What are the rules of law relating to bicycling in Los Angeles?
Most of the time I stop'd by the police on my bike I say it's illegal to ride on the sidewalk and no light. They tell me I have to go in the bike lane, there are not many in the greater Los Angeles. I think they're profiling me, always look for the backpack and my pockets and my ID! But never give me a ticket if I have broken the law?
The laws are the bicycle is a vehicle and subject to the same laws like any other vehicle.
