What is the purpose of Black, white, and red shield in the 2nd World War German helmets of the Wehrmacht?
I realized that helmets of the German Wehrmacht during World War 2 TRI had a small patch of color on the right side of their helmets. Does anyone know what the meaning shield. This, as the tricolor at the top, is a tricolor national flag, based on the colors of Imperial Germany, the shield has been introduced in 30 years, originating on the left.
